Position Overview
**Position Summary**
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for creating and executing a business plan that identifies new sales opportunities while supporting Southland Energyβs strategic business goals. The BDM will capitalize on industry trends, develop key industry and client relationships, and closely coordinate with the Acquisition and Project Development Teams to achieve growth and sales goals.
The primary focus for this role is within Healthcare and Higher Education energy project markets, but we are interested in learning about other markets and opportunities that you may have experience with.
**Position Details**
+ Develop strategic direction for market segment or vertical market, ensuring alignment with the strategic direction of the business and in support of achieving annual sales targets. These strategic initiatives must be synergistic with the strategic initiatives of the sales team.
