Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their Payments Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business acquisition across South Africa and selected African markets, contributing to revenue growth and market expansion.
This role is suited to a commercially driven and results- oriented professional who thrives in a high-performance environment and has a strong track record in fintech, banking, or payments sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, target, and acquire new fintech clients across banks, retailers, PSPs, mobile money operators, digital lenders, and enterprise customers.
Develop and execute structured prospecting strategies, including cold calling, networking, LinkedIn outreach, and industry events.
Drive end-to-end sales cycles from lead generation through negotiation and contract closure.
