Position Overview
THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
Business Development Manager – will report to the Director, Individual Advisor Channel in the following capacities:
- Meet or exceed gross and net revenue targets
- MGA & Advisor relationship development and management (e.g. meetings, social activities, other) with an aim to enhancing GreenShield product awareness and sales activity.
- Organize and execute Advisor education events (i.e. lunch & learn with CE credits, webinars, other).
- Collaboration with Account Manager(s) and Client Service Representative(s) on book management.
- Continual development of a network of quality advisors within our MGA block.
- Monitor the competitive marketplace and share internally.
- Ensure professional development and develop strong industry connections.
- Attendance at industry functions (i.e. CAILBA, Distribution Partner events).
