Position Overview
DescriptionThe Budget Analyst examines budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations. This individual reviews requests for budget revisions, recommends approval or denial, and drafts correspondence. S/he analyzes monthly department budgeting and accounting reports for the purposes of maintaining expenditure controls, and provides technical assistance to all related staff in budget preparation.
