Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Broker to join the Dry Cargo team in our Tokyo office. The ideal candidate should have a successful Broking background within Dry Cargo, be driven and focused, and be a strong relationship builder.
What you’ll be doing
Handle day-to-day, spot broking, also COA and period time-charter.Understand the business strategy for the division and seek to identify new business opportunities relating to trends, future markets, products and clients.Liaise with shipowners and/or charterers and staff in the company's other offices worldwide.Work in any area of the dry cargo market.Drive revenue and expand and develop the customer base both in and outside Japan.Handle necessary shipping documentation.Perform market analysis and provide market insight and trade ideas to clients.Provide market insights to clients.
