Business Development Manager/ Broker Consultant

Our client, a well-established short-term insurance underwriting manager specializing in niche products, is seeking to recruit an Afrikaans speaking Business Development Manager/ Broker Consultant to join their dynamic Fourways, Johannesburg team.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Acquire new broker partners and complete the broker application process.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with insurance partner’s BDMs.
3. Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with brokers.
4. Grow broker portfolios in terms of GWP and number of policies incepted monthly.
5. Deal with queries and provide information for sales and service issues.
6. Identify new potential brokers and opportunities for business growth.
7. Conduct product training with brokers – new and ongoing training.
8. Schedule and attend meetings and broker site visits.
