Description
The Broadcast Operations Lead, FAST will oversee daily and long-term technical and live channel operations of the Amazon Live free ad-supported (FAST) channel. The Amazon Live FAST channel is a 24/7 live shopping channel currently available on Prime Video, Fire TV and Samsung TV Plus. This role requires technical expertise and working knowledge of operating a 24/7 linear TV channel, working within cloud based playout systems (Amagi, Frequency or similar), as well as experience with live broadcast environments. The position may lead a team of contractors, while scaling and growing the channel in order to meet and anticipate the overall business needs of the organization. This role will collaborate with technical and product teams on Amazon’s “Shop the Show” integration, helping them prioritize features on the roadmap to ensure the best customer experience for the channel.
