This role supports the science teaching team in overseeing the upkeep and management of science laboratories, ensuring students learn in a safe, happy, and nurturing environment.

• Assist in preparing materials and equipment for all science lessons.
• Maintain laboratories, preparation rooms, and stockrooms in a clean and safe manner.
• Track stocks of science materials, chemicals, and equipment; prepare and submit purchase orders when necessary.
• Perform administrative duties in support of science teachers.
• Provide general teaching assistance and cover duties as required.
• Complete end‑of‑day checks to ensure safe shutdown of laboratories.
• Prepare equipment and materials, including paperwork, for demonstrations and whole‑class use.
