Purpose of the PositionThe Boutique and Gallery Sales Assistant is responsible for assisting guests and customers with purchases in the hotel boutique or art gallery. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, promoting products and artwork, maintaining attractive displays, and supporting sales operations within the hospitality environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service
- Welcome and assist guests and customers in the boutique or gallery.
- Provide information about products, souvenirs, clothing, jewellery, artwork, and local crafts.
- Recommend products based on customer needs and preferences.
- Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally.
Sales and Cash Handling
- Process sales transactions accurately.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and card machines.
