Position Overview
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join an insurance consulting firm in Santa Monica, California. This onsite opportunity is a Long-term Contract position and offers the chance to support daily accounting operations while partnering closely with the finance team. The person in this role will handle core bookkeeping activities, maintain accurate financial records, and contribute to reporting and reconciliations in a fast-paced office environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including reviewing invoices, preparing payments, and resolving billing discrepancies.
• Perform ongoing account and bank reconciliations to help ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Create and update financial reports in Excel by using formulas, pivot tables, and organized data analysis techniques.
