Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit statements for review and compliance with Australian tax regulations.
- Utilize billing and financial management tasks.
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts using Xero.
- Assist with general bookkeeping duties, including payroll support and expense tracking.
- Generate financial reports and provide insights to support business decision‑making.
- Ensure compliance with Australian financial regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve financial discrepancies.
- Pursue overdue invoices via calls and emails to secure timely payment.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role previously with Australian based companies.
- Experience preparing BAS statements in accordance with Australian tax requirements.
