Our client, a mission-driven organization in the nonprofit industry, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys maintaining accurate financial records, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to an organization focused on making a positive community impact.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger activity
+ Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
+ Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other balance sheet accounts
+ Prepare and post journal entries
+ Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
+ Process payroll or support payroll-related recordkeeping, as needed
+ Maintain records of donations, grants, and restricted funds
+ Help prepare financial reports for leadership, board meetings, and audits
