**Position Purpose:**

+ In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the Boiler Operator operates boiler, steam plant, associated systems and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Performs repairs and preventative maintenance as assigned or required _._

**What You Will Do:**

+ Education: High school graduate or equivalency. Technical training and mechanical and electrical systems.
+ Experience: Experienced in blueprint reading and knowledge of commercial plumbing codes. Minimum five years experience operating boilers.
+ Effective Communication Skills
+ Physical demands including working in 100+ degree environments, lifting objects up to 100 pounds, and work at heights of 20 feet or more from ladders.
