We are tasked with staffing the San Francisco VA Healthcare System with 1 FTE Board Certified Autotransfusionist. The Autotransfusionist is expected to perform the following:

• The Autotransfusionist is responsible to check the OR schedule daily for surgical procedures requiring Autotransfusionist services
• Coordinate scheduled periodic preventative maintenance and repair calls for VA owned equipment and maintain a record of such; assure a minimum of four complete sets of supplies for open heart and Autotransfusion cases are available at any given time
