Job Description

Purpose of the job

Responsible for the sales process from inception to the execution of the order, including taking orders, answering questions relating to the order, receiving payment and executing the order.

Main tasks and responsibilities (not limited to)

• Provide technical assistance to customers and Truco employees
• Belting and accessories - application recommendations, substitutions and selections
• Working with pricelists, parts lists and codes
• Assisting telephonically with troubleshooting
• Provide quotes to customers timeously
• Tender on quotes (Projects, Exports & Local)
• Liase with the team to fully exploit opportunities – margin levels, additional
• Pay close attention to detail – quote validity, pricing levels, transport/freight costs
• Monitoring of stock levels and feedback
