JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Responsible for being available for blacksmith work during qualifiers and races.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.

• Actively supports the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.

• Responsible for tacking shoes on in the paddock during live and qualifying race events.

• Necessary per the NYSRWB so that lost or thrown shoes do not hold up the race program for an extended amount of time.

• All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED required. Knowledge of being a blacksmith as well as harness racing knowledge.
