Position Overview
- Control the bitumen sprayer to apply materials to road surfaces at specified rates and tolerances.
- Adhere to safety protocols, handling hot bitumen safely, and operating heavy machinery on public roads.
- Operate bitumen spray equipment as per Company procedures.
- Carry out daily checks, cleaning spray bars, and conducting maintenance on the sprayer.
- Loading, heating, and monitoring the viscosity and temperature of bitumen in the tank.
- Flush tanks as per flushing matrix to prevent product contamination.
- Wash exterior of the truck regularly.
