Title: Biomedical Equipment Repair Technician 3

Location: Brook Army Medical Center (San Antonio, TX)

Education: Graduate of a military BMET Course or a higher education degree from an accredited college in BMET or Engineering.

Clearance: Public Trust Clearance or above preferred. A Public Trust Clearance is not required day one but will be processed and therefore must be a US Citizen able to obtain a clearance.

Summary:

+ The Association for the Advancement Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) standards for BMETs and levels of qualifications shall be applied to this position. CP shall provide expert-level experience in the repair, calibrate, and maintenance of all types of clinical equipment technologies, devices, instruments, and complex systems. Inspect, install, repair, prepare for disposition, and provide SPM of MDE.
