Biomedical Engineer (Specialized in Radiology / Laboratory Equipment) Biomedical Engineering Key Responsibilities: Ensure that all medical equipment are properly maintained, calibrated, and repaired, which includes regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and addressing any faulty equipment. Perform calibration and testing of medical devices to ensure their accuracy and reliability. Available on-call to provide immediate assistance and troubleshoot issues during odd hours to ensure patient safety. Responsible to install and set up new medical equipment and provision of training to staff to operate and maintain the equipment. Keep track of the hospital’s medical equipment inventory, including records of equipment usage, repairs and replacement.
