Summary About the Position: Serves as technical expert pertaining to biological systems; provides biological advice pertaining to USACE Civil Works projects and planning studies, including evaluation of environmental impacts of alternative plan formulations; drafts and reviews environmental documents; communicates to team members and senior management, both orally and in written format, to determine study needs pertinent to fish and wildlife, especially federally endangered and threatened species. Responsibilities Performs qualitative and quantitative biological surveys. Evaluate alternative plans for water resources development and management based on biological and other environmental factors.
