Description
We are seeking a Billing Clerk in the Perth Amboy, NJ area. This role is responsible for project-based billing, including AIA billing, reviewing cost documentation, and preparing and processing invoices.
Responsibilities:
• Handle different types of billing, including progress billing, time-and-material billing, and AIA billing.
• Review labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs to confirm correct billable amounts.
• Track billing schedules, monitor outstanding invoices, and follow up on collections as needed.
• Support month-end billing and accounts receivable activities by preparing records and reviewing open items for close.
Requirements
• 2+ years of experience in billing and invoicing.
• Familiarity with AIA billing, AIA documents, and construction accounting practices.
