Billing Clerk

We are recruiting for billing clerks for a great company here in El Paso. JOB PURPOSE: Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor - Billing, employee will be responsible of addressing system billing exceptions to ensure accurate billing of customer electric service accounts. Employee will review and take appropriate action on customer account system exceptions by verifying meter readings and billing charges and will apply proper rate tariff applicability and PUCT/NMPRC rules and regulations, application of state laws regarding sales taxes, and maintaining proper documentation of the listed tasks.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• Administrative experience 3 years.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in the United States in business or related field preferred.
• Advanced Excel, Word, and billing system experience preferred.
