Position Overview

Position Details
This is a part-time position with an expected 25-30 hours per week.

The role of the Educational Support Services (ESS) paraprofessional is to work with classroom teachers and the ESS Student Support Team to support the academic and social-emotional needs of students. This role reports to the Educational Support services Director and the Student Support Team.

Qualifications
The ability to teach and care well for students who need academic and/or social-emotional support

The ability to collaborate well with the ESS director, the Student Support Team, classroom teachers, and other faculty

The ability to work independently and seek solutions to issues as they arise

Teaching certification preferred

Teaching experience preferred

Bilingual/Spanish speaking preferred

Bachelor’s degree in education or related field preferred
