I. Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Supervisor to join our finance team in Montreal or Ottawa. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting principles, experience mentoring and overseeing direct reports, and a keen attention to detail.

Reporting to our Area Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily accounting operations, guiding a small team of 2-3 professional and clerical accounting personnel performing specialized or general accounting functions. In this role you will perform complex accounting tasks, prepare quarterly filings, validate balance sheet reconciliations, post month end closing entries, and approve transactions while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and contributing to the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
