Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Cost Estimator in the construction or fit-out industry.
Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, RSMeans) and MS Office Suite.
In charge of assigned estimating works & submission of bid proposals as per schedule
Attend pre-bid conference; making sure that queries and other related concerns are adequately recorded and fill up the pre-bid checklist
Prepare a report and brief the engineering department on the project overview
Prepares cost estimates by breaking down the items of work using a standard format and determining the cost of each item from experience and a database of current construction cost information.
Prepare the initial budget for the project, and evaluate the submitted operations budget
