Job Description
We are working along side a school based in Walton, they are looking for a Behavior Support Assistant to work closely with pupils who may display challenging behavior or require additional social, emotional, and behavioral support within the school environment. The role centers on supporting students to overcome barriers to learning, develop emotional resilience, and participate positively in their education.
The successful candidate will provide both one-to-one and small group support, helping students develop positive behaviour strategies, emotional resilience, and confidence within the classroom and wider school environment.
The Role
β’ Support pupils with SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
β’ Help to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours using a calm and consistent approach
β’ Support pupils in accessing a personalised curriculum tailored to their individual needs
