BEHAVIORAL SPECIALIST (BCBA)



RESPONSIBILITIES:


+ Behavioral Specialists (BCBA) will include working collaboratively with the school psychologist assigned to the Alternate Learning Program.

+ Provide training for teachers, related service providers, and support staff in data collection and the implementation of behavior management strategies.

+ Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and creating Behavior Intervention Plans, as well as possessing formal training and practical knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and intervention strategies.

+ Conducting/facilitating team meetings and participation at Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings to report on data collection and progress toward goals is also required.

+ Behavioral Specialists (BCBA) will have other responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director of Special Education and Mental Health Services. ...
