**Job Description:**

The Behavioral Health Clinician I holds a terminal masters or doctoral level degree in their discipline, and performs diagnostic psychosocial evaluations, develops care plan with clients and their families, offers individual, family, or group therapy as appropriate, collaborated with psychiatric and/or medical providers who are part of the client’s care team, and documents all clinical interventions in accordance with CHC policy, Joint Commission standards, and state regulatory expectations. The Clinician I is provided supervision as required by CT licensing laws for their discipline until such time as they pass the necessary examination, complete the CHC credentialing process, and are appointed as licensed members of the Behavioral Health staff.
