Flexible Work, Better Balance
ALBA is the Spanish synchrotron light source, a large research infrastructure operating ten beamlines and an Electron Microscopy Center. It is located in Cerdanyola del Vallès (Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain) and is funded by the Spanish Government and the Catalan Government. The 3 GeV synchrotron light serves thousands of researchers across scientific fields such as catalysis, health, energy, environment, communication technologies, and cultural heritage. ALBA is undergoing an upgrade to ALBA II, a 4th‑generation facility that will significantly increase brightness and coherent flux.
ALBA values a multidisciplinary, inclusive work environment and promotes gender equality, encouraging applications from women especially in scientific, engineering and technical positions.
Scientific position in the Beam Dynamics Group of the Accelerator Division.
