Description

Operate batch equipment to process customer parts in accordance with shop order specifications and instructions from management, providing maximum production consistent with acceptable quality; set and monitor process parameters to ensure that cycles are loaded and unloaded in a timely manner to meet scheduling and productivity requirements.



Key Responsibilities:


+ Transfer, check in, check out and weigh work moving in or out of the department.

+ Prepare, wash, load, unload and inspect parts for heat-treating.

+ Monitor and adjust controls on furnace equipment based on work order specifications.

+ Set up new or special jobs.

+ Unpack and re-pack finished parts in customer containers for shipment.
