Position Overview
Responsibilities
- Deliver meals to patients according to hospital’s schedule including breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and supper.
- Involve directly in food plating during all mealtime as scheduled.
- Portion patients’ meal following the standard portion size based on Hospital Diet Manual.
- Ensure all types of diet are correct and tally to Bed Management System (BMS) Form.
- Ensure all crockeries serve to the patients are clean and complete.
- Ensure all patients get the right meal as ordered by the ward and the patients.
- Participate directly in weekly and monthly inventory monitoring.
- Maintain cleanliness of trayline and working area.
- Maintain good communication with patients, hospital staff, the Management and among colleagues.
- Participate in all quality accreditation activities (e.g. JCI, MSQH, IMS, MSOSH, 5S, etc.). Conformance to Hospital Accreditations.
