Job Description
We are seeking a senior-level Banquet Chef to lead high-volume, upscale banquet operations within a large, fast-paced hospitality environment. This role is responsible for all culinary execution, food quality, cost control, and team leadership for high-end player events, conventions, weddings, and corporate/social banquets.
Essential duties:
• Personally and through delegated duties, prepare all menu items for banquets.
• Specify and order all food for banquet functions.
• Ensure the quality and quantity of food products used in banquets.
• Lead and develop a banquet culinary team (Sous Chef, Cooks, & Banquet Steward)
• Ensure strict adherence to sanitation and safety are consistently practiced by all members of the banquet prep staff.
• Ensure that all preventive and repair maintenance on all banquet equipment is completed.
• Maintain food and labor costs; support seamless execution of large-scale events.
