Our client, is a Vacation Rentals company, is looking for a Backend Software Eng for their Montreal, QC/ Remote location. Responsibilities:

+ Design and implement clear, scalable APIs and backend services that power core claim workflows

+ Partner cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Data Science, and Engineering teams to define requirements, develop technical designs, and deliver high-quality features from concept to production

+ Write clean, well-tested code and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence through thoughtful code reviews and shared best practices

+ Instrument and monitor services to ensure reliability, performance, and observability in production

Requirements:

+ 5+ years of backend software development experience

+ Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Kotlin, Java, or Python
