Position Overview

Summary Serves as the Aircrew Program Manager for the NetJets (DXTA) certificate for the Columbus Flight Standards District Office. Responsibilities The APM is responsible for the adequacy of aircrew ground & flight training/testing & standards for specific aircraft of an assigned air carrier. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Principal Operations Inspector (POI). Manages programs on assigned aircraft including designated examiners &/or Aircrew Program Designees (APD). Develops a work program to insure periodic surveillance of designated pilot and flight engineer examiners, pilot and flight engineer check airmen, and company training programs. Assures the assigned air carrier conducts flight crew training and testing required by appropriate FARs, FAA-approved training programs, and current testing standards.
