Summary The Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) Manager is assigned as primary interface between the Certificate Management Office (CMO) and the assigned air carrier to prevent accidents and incidents by encouraging employees of the air carrier to voluntarily report safety issues and events. Responsibilities Under the general direction of the Principal Inspector or Supervisory Principal Inspector, accomplishes the following duties: A. Technical Administration Reviews, recommends approval, and maintains a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that sets forth all operational elements of the ASAP. This MOU is a written agreement between the FAA, the certificate holder, and any third party such as an employee's labor organization or their representatives.
