The **Machinist, Maintenance** will fabricate parts and components for equipment or items on fabrication work order and to meet specified or original specification requirements in accordance with applicable equipment technical directives referenced in the Technical Library.

**Principal Accountabilities**

+ Interpret written instructions and specifications.
+ Plan and lay out of work to be completed.
+ Use a variety of machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
+ Set up and operate standard machine tools.
+ Responsible for the shaping of metal parts to close tolerances.
+ Make standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds, and speeds of machining.
+ Perform other qualified duties as requested.
