Position Overview

Summary Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Air and Marine Operations located in Oklahoma City, OK (National Air Training Center) and San Diego, CA. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above. Responsibilities This position starts at a salary of $109,383.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $142,199.00 (GS-13, Step 10). In this position you will conduct aviation law enforcement activities. Typical work assignments include: Serving as a law enforcement officer on AMO aircraft and at branches, centers and units; planning methods of surveillance and intercepting illegal activity. Leading and coordinating activities with interagency staffs, to include conducting preliminary investigations, identifying suspects, search and arrest, interrogations, and testifying in courts of law.
