Assess children of different ages on their behavioural, social and emotional needs
Formulate an intervention plan for the child based on assessment findings
After each intervention session, parents are updated on the childβs progress during the session and some strategies are shared with the parents to reinforce what was taught/done during the session
Collaborate with different stakeholders (i.e., parents, preschool teachers, intervention teachers and therapists) of the child to understand more about the child in different settings (i.e., schools and home) to help better manage the childβs behaviour
Provide support for in-class behavioural management, psychotherapy and school shadowing or support services at school
Supervises new or junior staff in the same discipline as assigned
