Position Overview
Job Summary:
Provide diagnostic evaluations of the auditory and vestibular systems and aid in assessing the neurological status of adults and children. Provide direction, counseling, and recommendations regarding the rehabilitation of hearing impaired patients. Determine whether severely hearing impaired patients are candidates for cochlear implant surgery. Upholds Kaiser Permanentes Policies and Procedures, Principles of Responsibilities and applicable state, federal and local laws.
Essential Responsibilities:
+ Selects, performs, and interprets diagnostic test data for: Pediatric and geriatric populations, vestibular function, and facial nerve integrity.
+ Counsels patients and informs them of future therapeutic plans.
+ Provides mobile diagnostic services for inpatients, ICU, NICU, and operative patients.
