(Job Order: ) The incumbent will be responsible for the following:
Assessment and diagnosis: Perform hearing and balance tests, interpret results, and diagnose disorders.
Treatment planning: Develop personalized treatment plans, which may include recommending hearing aids, cochlear implants, or other assistive listening devices.
Rehabilitation: Fit and adjust hearing aids, provide guidance on their use, and counsel patients and their families on communication strategies and managing hearing loss.
Preventative care: Implement and manage hearing conservation and loss prevention programs and conduct screenings.
Collaboration: Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with other healthcare professionals like doctors, speech-language pathologists, and educators.
