Associate - Liability & Excess Coverage

Clyde & Co is a global law firm that provides service to clients in its core sectors of insurance, transportation, energy, infrastructure, and trade & commodities. Our California-based insurance coverage team is seeking an Insurance Coverage Associate with 3–9 years of experience. The position involves representation of domestic insurers with regard to coverage advice and litigation involving commercial general liability and excess policies.

What You'll Do

• Analyze rights and obligations under insurance policies, draft coverage opinions, and provide coverage advice to clients.
• Conduct legal research, analyze findings, and draft memoranda.
• Prepare and analyze pleadings, discovery, motions, supporting briefs, and legal correspondence regarding insurance coverage litigation.
