Job Description
The primary purpose of a clinical athletic trainer is to work with our primary care sports medicine physicians and orthopedic surgeons. In addition to clinic coverage, this position also has other programmatic requirements including, but not limited to, sports medicine phone triage coverage, continuing education, training, meetings and other fill in outreach coverage as needed for schools, clubs and tournaments.
Responsibilities
PATIENT POPULATION - (CLINICAL ONLY) 5% Engages in population appropriate communication. Has knowledge of growth and development milestones and tasks. Gives clear instructions to patients/family regarding treatment. Involves family/guardian in the assessment, initial treatment and continuing care of the patient.
