Location Palmer Ridge High School Job Summary Lewis-Palmer High School is looking for an Athletic Trainer for the school year. The Athletic Trainer is responsible for the health care of athletic related injuries and conditions sustained during sanctioned CHSAA athletic events and activities. Candidate will provide care of injuries to athletes at either or both high schools in accordance with the Medical Practice Act of the State of Colorado and the direction of licensed physicians. The Athletic Trainer is responsible for prevention, clinical evaluation, diagnosis, immediate care, rehabilitation, and reconditioning of all athletic related injuries appropriate to their education. Candidates will render emergency care and make medical referrals and recommendations for further care when necessary while maintaining accurate records of injuries.
