**Job Description**
We seek a talented and motivated Research Associate I to assist in conducting an NIH-funded study at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai examining a new mechanism and therapy for comorbid health problems, including Alzheimerβs disease, metabolic dysregulation, and more, in mouse models of Down Syndrome.
The Research Associate is an entry or mid-level researcher, responsible for conducting and assisting in rodent research studies under the supervision of Dr. Ki Goosens and a postdoc in the Institute for Translational Medicine and Pharmacology at Mount Sinai. The individual will conduct studies in mice. Primary responsibilities will include running experiments, collecting and processing tissues and blood samples, and running ELISAs and other assays to measure specific biomarkers.
