Position Overview
The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of evaluation and management of Parkinsonβs disease, related disorders, and other movement disorders. Expertise in botulinum toxin injection and management of neurostimulators is preferred. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree and be board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology. Completion of a fellowship in Movement Disorders is also required.
The successful candidate would be active in national/international organizations like the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) and the Movement Disorders Society (MDS). They would also be active in clinical trials at the organizational as well as the site level. They would mentor and drive academic productivity among fellows and residents.
