Associate Lawyer (2+ Years) – Insurance Defence Litigation

Ritch Williams & Richards is a boutique litigation firm based in downtown Halifax, focused on insurance defence and marine law. We act for leading national and international insurers on complex and high-value matters.

We are seeking a motivated Associate Lawyer (with at least 2+ years’ experience) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys litigation, takes ownership of their files, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and advance litigation files from initial referral through to resolution with increasing autonomy
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and other court materials
• Prepare detailed liability and damages assessments, and opinions
• Prepare for and conduct discoveries, mediations, and Judicial settlement conferences
