Overview

The ideal candidate must be:

• A member of good standing with the Law Society of Alberta;


• 3+ years of family law practice experience and be able to make a positive contribution to a firm culture emphasizing collegiality, mutual respect and team building between lawyers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and representation to clients in all aspects of family law.


• Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and arguments.


• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, agreements, and court filings.


• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, hearings, and trials.


• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.


• Stay updated on changes in family law statutes, regulations, and case law.
