Smith Hulsey & Busey is seeking an Associate with one to four years of experience in complex commercial real estate transactions. Associates are involved in transactions from initial structuring through closing, with responsibility for key components of each deal and the opportunity to work directly with partners and clients.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft real estate purchase contracts, leases, easements, loan documents, and other transaction-related agreements.
• Conduct due diligence on commercial real estate transactions, including title and survey review.
• Prepare organizational and governing documents.
• Review and issue title commitments and title insurance policies on behalf of nationally recognized title insurance companies.
• Facilitate the closing of commercial real estate transactions.
