Position Summary
Outstanding candidates are sought in areas of modern statistical theory and methods that align with high-impact, emerging societal challenges. Candidates shall demonstrate strong research potential or have a nationally recognized record of research excellence. Areas of interest include mathematical statistics and/or theory-driven methodology, with a preference for work interfacing with scientific applications. Areas of application may include but are not limited to: agricultural, environmental and climate sciences, genetic/genomic data analysis, image analysis, machine learning and deep learning, artificial intelligence, precision medicine and health outcomes, and physics and astronomy.
