Flexible Work, Better Balance
Assistant Supervisors serve as lead members of the direct care team, providing the same day‑to‑day functions as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) but with administrative responsibilities including training, scheduling, systems management, and in some cases directly supervising other DSPs.
Depending on the supports needed, Assistant Supervisors may work in a person’s home, a family’s home, a YAI residence, at a day habilitation center, or out in the community.
